What are AI PCs and Copilot PCs?

AI PCs, also known as Copilot PCs, are a new initiative from Microsoft in collaboration with some partners. These laptops are specifically designed to perform advanced AI tasks at lightning speed, in addition to normal office tasks such as emailing, creating presentations, and drafting proposals, thanks to a special chip called the Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This NPU is designed to make neural networks work efficiently and execute AI functionalities directly on your device.

What is Copilot?

Copilot is a software solution from Microsoft that integrates AI into all Office applications. With Copilot, you can, for example, have PowerPoint generate a presentation from a Word document, Outlook compose emails or summarize your inbox, and Teams schedule meetings and create action items using AI.
